PokerStars closed my account 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I like Starschips.com and was able to sell a million or two, but now I can't do that anymore. PokerStars closed my account, still with real money in it.
The reason: PokerStars found me guilty in doing chip-dumping. I didn't know that transfering chips from one account to another is chip-dumping.

So, be warned: PokerStars is closing accounts (no matter if there's real money in it) if they think you do chip-dumping.
I don't know how StarsChips.com handle such behavior. Did you, guys from StarsChips.com, ever got a eMail from PokerStars for that?

Have you, guys from StarsChips.com, ever heard of TestPokerStars.com? It's the beta Software-Site from PokerStars where Pokerplayer can Test the new updates.
It would be nice if you could manage a 'sell chips' offer there too. Maybe you can pay via paypal? That would be perfect. Because my account on TestPokerStars.com is still alive and I play there and make chips. The Chips from TestPokerStars.com can be transferred to PokerStars.com and they double the sum. So you get 2 Chips on PokerStars.com for 1 Chip from TestPokerStars.com.

Hello,

Pokerstars will normally give you an opportunity to correct anything that you might be doing wrong before they ban your account.

The most common reason for having an account banned is for multiple accounts. You are only allowed 1 account and Pokerstars takes this rule very seriously.

Chip-dumping is different from just transferring play chips. The Pokerstars terms of service says the following about chip-dumping.

5.7. CHIP-DUMPING. Chip-dumping occurs when any User intentionally loses a hand in order to deliberately transfer his chips to another User. Any User who chip-dumps or attempts to chip-dump with any other User while using the Service may be permanently banned from using the Service and their account may be terminated immediately. In such circumstances PokerStars will be under no obligation to refund to you any monies that may be in your PokerStars account at such time.

We have heard of testpokerstars.com but do not intend to trade chips there at this time. Because you can transfer chips to your pokerstars .net/.com account for double it is a great way to build chips. Until we get more interest for testpokerstars.com trades, we will only be trading pokerstars .net/.com chips.

Thanks and good luck at the tables.
